Armou is a very privileged village. It is a small beautiful community that has easy access to the town of Paphos and people there are open hearted and very friendly.
Hign on a hill, Armou is a quiet, traditional village enjoying panoramic views and refreshing breezes.
It is situated 11km north east of Paphos away from the hustle and bustle, it is a place who prefer a quieter location; and the drive up from the town is a real pleasure at any time of the year. This is the 'real' Cyprus, abundant in flora and fauna, and sleepy little hamlets, like nearby Marathounta, nestling amid the rolling green hills.
Armou and Marathounta boast a taverna each, but you would need to go down to the outskirts of Paphos for most of your supplies. However, it's only a 10 minute drive down a good quality road.
